How to confirm your closing fee before listing
Review your estimated closing fee and accept the payment terms before your startup goes live.
When your startup is approved and ready to list, Acquire asks you to review the closing fee that applies to your sale. The confirmation shows your estimated rate, the current pricing tiers, and when the fee is due.
Your final rate and fee amount are based on the final purchase price. If the purchase price falls into a different pricing tier, your final rate can differ from the estimate shown when you list.
1. Open the listing confirmation
- Open your startup listing in your seller account.
- Find the Your startup is ready to go live reminder.
- Select List my startup.
The confirmation appears after your startup has been approved and your listing subscription is active. If an Acquire advisor is coordinating your launch, you may not see this button; your advisor will contact you about the listing date.
2. Review your estimated closing fee
In Ready to list your startup?, review:
- the estimated closing-fee rate shown for your listing;
- the current asking-price tiers, displayed in U.S. dollars;
- the note that the final rate and fee amount depend on the final purchase price;
- the services included with your listing, such as access to qualified buyers, support with offers and negotiations, privacy tools, legal-document builders, and escrow; and
- If you don't sell, you don't pay a closing fee.
The closing fee is due in full when your sale closes.

3. Accept the fee and list your startup
- Select the checkbox to agree to pay Acquire.com the applicable closing fee based on the final purchase price, due in full when the sale closes.
- Select Confirm and list startup.
The confirmation button stays disabled until you select the agreement. After Acquire records your confirmation, your startup is listed and can go live in the marketplace.
To leave without listing, select Cancel or the close icon. Your startup remains unlisted.
This confirmation is for the first time an approved startup goes live. Editing an existing listing does not reopen it, and you will not see it when relisting a startup that was previously live.
