[Listing](https://help.acquire.com/selling?hsLang=en#listing) # How do I verify my business? ## How to verify a US-based entity with Persona **Last updated: January 10th, 2024** In addition to verifying identity, all sellers must now verify their business (US only) and identity (all other countries) before listing on the marketplace. Verification builds trust with buyers and helps with early diligence, saving you time and energy later.  We've partnered with the verification platform Persona to verify your ID and business. Buyers will never see your identification or business details, and Persona protects your information by following the [strictest privacy and security standards](https://withpersona.com/security). You'll receive a **Verified badge** on your profile after completing the process. Follow the steps below to get verified and reassure buyers you and your business are legitimate.  Only sellers listing **US-based businesses** and **selling as an entity** need to complete business verification. If you're based outside of the US and/or are selling as an individual, you only need to complete [ID verification](https://help.acquire.com/how-do-i-verify?hsLang=en).  ### How to verify your business (US-based entities) When you complete your listing, we'll immediately ask you to **verify your business**. 1\. Your business name should autofill on the next screen. Your email address and first and last name should autofill. Persona will process the document to ensure it's good for review. Persona will review your information and approve or reject your application shortly.
